You've hear it....we've all heard it...."You get what you pay
for!" Sure, we all believe that...or do we?
What are you paying for? If you think its all the same and it
really doesn't matter, then why aren't you buying your clothes
from Wal-Mart, Target or K-mart?
What you pay and what you get....DOES matter and is directly
related!
Don't get me wrong, these businesses do a excellent job of
targeting and marketing to their clientele and they pay their
associates accordingly.
You pay your ...Read the rest of this entry »

Debt levels are at an all time high in the UK. The younger
generation tend to be feeling the pinch the most, but parents
are increasingly being required to bail them out, often at great
expense to their own limited mortgage or retirement savings.
It has become almost accepted as a fact of life that graduates
will begin their careers with a considerable level of personal
debt. The Association of Investment Trust Companies found that
on average students expected to graduate with £7,208 of ...Read the rest of this entry »

The stock market can present you with a lot of hot stocks every
day. Many of them are new technology stocks that come from the
nanotech, biotech, voip, healthcare, homeland defense or
internet sectors.
Most of them may seem promising, but the truth is that a good
number of these trading & investing opportunities are extremely
risky, while others are not as good as they seem. That's why
it's very important to know how to choose the best especially if
you want to day trade them.
When you know ...Read the rest of this entry »

Taking your ad and turning it into paragraph-style prose is not
a press release ' chances are it will only lead the publisher to
call and invite you to run it as a paid ad. A press release is
for news or for information about a topic the audience needs to
know.
Any press release that reads too much like an ad will likely
lead a media person to forward it to the advertising department.
For example, here's a headline that sounds too much like an ad:
"Financial Planner Chet Thompson Saved ...Read the rest of this entry »

Consumer research site, moneynet, has published its seventh
online brochure in the series of personal finance product
guides. The student finance guide, collated by two graduates at
moneynet, was generated in response to requests moneynet
received from parents, students and prospective students who had
serious financial concerns about how to fund university.
Graduates are reportedly leaving university with debts of over
£13,000. With the advent of Child Trust Funds as a long term
measure to ...Read the rest of this entry »

employers an advantage in the search for new job candidates
Companies are gearing up to begin hiring again now that the

Many of my clients have had the misguided perception that they
won't be able to get media coverage from a publication that
their larger competitors advertise in. Nothing could be further
from the truth.
Most respectable publications erect a wall separating
advertising and editorial (news/feature) coverage. Reporters and
editors are specifically instructed to not give preferential
treatment to advertisers. It's one of the first things you learn
in Journalism 101.
Many larger publications are ...Read the rest of this entry »
